Children up to 5 go free, as do disabled visitors and a companion, University of Padua students and staff, journalists, licensed guides and ICOM members. Free tickets can't be bought online: book them by phone (049 827 3939).

Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays: 10am to 7pm from 28 March to September, 10am to 6pm in early March and in October, 10am to 5pm from 24 October to February (last entry 45 minutes before closing). Closed on Mondays (unless a holiday) and 25 December; in 2026 it also closed 7 January to 6 February.
