Daily, 9am to 6pm from 28 March to 15 October; 10am to 4pm from 16 October to 27 March. Closed 1 January and 24, 25 and 31 December.

Booking

Visits are by timed guided tour only and start on time, so a late arrival loses the place. Book early on the official ticket shop; same-day tickets at the Ticket Center in Hohenschwangau often sell out soon after it opens at 8am. No rucksacks or prams inside. Hohenschwangau Castle is run separately and isn't on Bavaria's palace passes.
