Children aged 13 and under, and severely disabled visitors (with a companion if their pass is marked B). No ticket is needed for services, prayer or to light a candle: use the North Portal entrance facing the station.

Tourist visits Monday to Saturday 10am to 5:45pm (last entry 5:30pm); Sundays and church holidays 1:30 to 4:30pm. Tower 9am to 6pm from March to October, 9am to 4pm November to February. The cathedral is open for prayer 6am to 8pm.

Book on the cathedral's own ticket site, tickets.koelner-dom.de, or at the Central Ticket Office at Roncalliplatz 2 (9am to 5:30pm). Ticket holders enter by the Main Portal. Bags no larger than 40 × 35 × 15 cm.
